At NAED, generations of employees have worked to built a utility that is a valuable local asset with deep community roots. Our job responsibilities may be different, but we share the same goal. The Business Division oversees all the financial aspects of a business thriving in today’s competitive energy environment, provides dependable friendly assistance to our customers and manages the demanding schedule of meter replacement and meter reading. The Engineering Division coordinates all aspects of the reliable and economic delivery of electricity to NAED customers, from the equipment that moves your electricity to the manner in which it moves. The Operations Division maintains and improves the electric infrastructure necessary to meet the demands of the town’s expanding residential and business population. The Information Systems Division provides proactive management and operation, direction, maintenance, and support of the data services and NAED staff and employees also provide the community with educational programs, support town projects and contribute time and resources to local causes. Our customer newsletters, Light Lines for residents and Power Lines for businesses have a focus on communicating the importance of electric safety, energy conservation, and the benefits of public power to our customer owners, the ratepayers. NAED offers programs such as Energy Smart Home residential rebates for Energy Star appliances and qualified home improvements plus Power Saver, a rebate plan encouraging lighting upgrades to North Attleborough businesses. With news releases, the Energy Smart Calendar, civic groups visiting our facility, electric education in the schools, participation in community events and our annual Safety Saturday, NAED contributes and communicates with the Town. |
