Sign-up for Residential Service
To establish new service with NAED, call our Customer Service Representatives at 508.643.6300 or stop by our Operations Center during business hours. You will need to provide the name of the account holder, service address, billing address, your status as a homeowner or tenant, your social security or license number and the date you want service to begin. NAED's Customer Service Representative will outline your service.
A deposit is required for Residential customers who are non-homeowners. The deposit will be held in an interest-bearing account and may be refunded upon cancellation of service after certain requirements are met.
Cancel Residential Service
To disconnect existing service, call our Customer Service Representatives at 508.643.6300 or stop in at our Operations Center. You will need to provide the name of the account holder, service address, billing address, your status as a homeowner or tenant, your social security or license number and the date you want service to end. Your final bill will be determined and will be due upon disconnection. If you have a deposit being held, it can be applied to your final payment or refunded once certain requirements are met.
Business Service:

To establish new service with NAED, call our Customer Service Department at 508.643.6300 or stop by our Operations Center during business hours. You will need to provide the name of the account holder, service address, billing address, your social security or license number or Federal Identification Number and the date you want service to begin. Your Customer Service representative will outline your service.
A deposit for service is required for Commercial customers; it is based on the average of the cost of service for the previous 12 months of electrical use at the site. Click here to read NAED's Deposit Policy.
Cancel Commercial Service
To disconnect existing service, call our Customer Service Department at 508.643.6300 or stop in at our Operations Center. You will need to provide the name of the account holder, service address, billing address, your social security or license number or Federal Identification Number and the date you want service to end. Your final bill will be determined and will be due upon disconnection. A minimum of 24-hour notice is required. The deposit that was made when the account was first established can be applied to the final balance. If there is a credit balance, the customer will receive a refund in two to four weeks.
